We offer guided fishing tours and fishing vacations in cabins & cottages at some of south Sweden’s most interesting lakes.

Our fishing guide, Henrik Olsson, offers guided fishing tours for zander (pikeperch), pike and char. We can also help to arrange perch fishing tours. The more fishing experience you bring the more advanced and fun things we can do with you. Apart from catching your dream fish, we are happy to teach you new fishing methods like pelagic vertical jigging for zander or vertical speed jigging for char, which makes our guided tours particularly interesting for anglers that are looking for a new challenge.

South Sweden offers various opportunities for pike fishing: from smaller, shallow and turbid lakes to huge, deep and very clear lakes like Vättern. Fishing methods vary depending on the type of lake and range from spin- and jerkbait- fishing to trolling. The best period for pike fishing in Smaland begins in mid September and continuous throughout winter when we go ice fishing.

The pre-spawning pike fishing in open water in early spring is usually difficult, but also very rewarding as the weight of the pike peaks during this period. A few weeks after spawning in April, the pike start feeding aggressively and are easy to catch until the water hits summer temperatures in June.

Big zander fishing in Sweden can be done all year round. The period from mid May to end June tends to be easier when your goal is catching many zander. If you are looking to catch one of the biggest specimens the chances are best in the fall, from October onwards after the zander has been feeding all summer. From then on they keep gaining weight throughout the entire ice fishing season, as well as March and April, before loosing weight while spawning.

With Europe’s 6th biggest lake (Vättern) situated on our doorstep we can offer a one of a kind char fishing experience. Traditionally trolling is the most common method of char fishing on lake Vättern, but we can offer a revolutionary and much more exciting method on our guided fishing tours: Vertical Speed Jigging with light gear. Usually carried out pelagically at depth of up to 20m, you will be able to see the char chasing your lure in real time on the sonar screen. Due to the char’s fast and aggressive behavior this method is clearly the most exiting way of fishing for char.

The best time of the year are the hot summer days in July and August, which makes char fishing a great summer vacation adventure. The season ends in mid September when char fishing is limited while the fish are preparing for spawning.

Perch Fishing in Sweden can be done all year round. If your goal is catching many perch, fall (beginning of September to end of November) is an excellent choice. If you are looking to catch a really big perch, then spring (beginning of February until end May) just before spawning is the time to go. Throughout summer Perch Fishing in Sweden is not bad either and you can usually catch many, but the average size is much smaller than in fall. a) Short term: If you are looking for a weekend trip or any other shorter stay we highly recommend the countryside hotel Wiredaholm Golf & Konferens which also serves breakfast and offers a great restaurant.

b) Minimum stay 6 nights: We offer a variety of lakeside cottages ranging from small and very simple to exclusive luxury homes with stunning views for up to 15 people. From May to October the rental period usually starts and ends on a Saturday as we only rent out on a weekly basis.
