We offer two different types of accommodation for your fishing trip to Sweden depending on the length of your stay:

Short term stay: Countryside Hotel (less than 6 nights)

Short term accommodation: If your are coming for one of our guided fishing tours and only stay for a few nights we suggest that you stay at the Countryside Hotel Wiredaholm Golf & Konferens. This way you are situated right in the center of our main fishing area and don’t have to worry about food, thanks to their great restaurant – even lunch packages for the guided tours can be arranged. Wiredaholm is located next to a small lake and offers 16 double rooms with en suite bathroom or alternatively one small cabin. The cabin has 1 double and 2 single rooms as well as bathroom + shower and can fit up to 4 people in total. After a long day of fishing there even is a sauna that you can use. During our guided fishing tours, fishing equipment can be provided by us so you don’t have to bring much. If you would like to stay here just mention it in your booking request! We will then help you with the reservation. The following room prices include breakfast and free Wifi:

• Singel room 890 SEK (approximately 95 EUR) per night
• Double room 1.350 SEK (approximately 140 EUR) per night
• Cabin prices on request depending on availability

Long term stay: Our Lakeside Cottages (minimum 6 nights)

Long term accommodation: For longer stays (minimum 6 nights) we offer a variety of lakeside houses and cottages ranging from small and very simple to exclusive luxury homes with stunning views for up to 15 people. Our houses / cottages are situated at a number of different lakes, including great waters for pike, zander and perch fishing. Rental boats ranging from 5 to 30hp are available, but you will have to bring your own fishing gear. From April to October the rental period starts and ends on a Saturday as we only rent out on a weekly basis. This means you will have to book at least 1 full week Saturday to Saturday, or do it like many of our other guests and stay for 2 or even 3 weeks. All our cabins and houses are equipped with a kitchen, which means they are self catering.

The prices for our lakeside cabins & houses range from about 430 EUR to over 2.000 EUR per week and very much depend on the following factors:

• Which fish species is your main target: pike, zander (pikeperch) or perch?
• The exact dates of your stay. Main season & most expensive are July and August.
• The exact number of people you are traveling with (determines the size of the house).
• The standard you are expecting. We have got it all from very simple to luxury home.
• The distance to the water: 200 or 300m from the water is significantly cheaper than a lakeside property.

How to get to us – closest airports & rental cars

The closest big airport is usually Gothenborg Landvetter (GOT) which is about 2 hours by car from our home base nearby the city of Jönköping where we do most of our guided fishing tours. The alternative is Stockholm Arlanda airport (ARN) which is located about 3,5 hours away by car.  If you are particularly coming for perch fishing in the Kalmar area, Copenhagen airport (CPH) in Denmark, right at the Swedish border, can be a great alternative to Stockholm Arlanda airport (ARN).

Since you will be living on the countryside, you should rent a car at the airport. Without a car it is very difficult to move around here as there is little to no public transport on the countryside. If staying in one of our self-catering houses or cabins it is even more important to rent a car, as there is no other way for you to go food shopping. Rental cars can easily be prebooked online from any of the big international brands. Just search for the according airport on you favorite rental car brand’s website.

Currently we do not offer any pick up services, since this would leave you stranded at your accommodation.
